Translated note (LL)

Content:  Translated section of Brailovsky and Barrera (1982) regarding the synonymy of Zoreva dentipes (Fabricius) and Zoreva vicina (Signoret): Signoret (1862) described Zoreva vicina from Peru, mentioned similarities with Zoreva dentipes but mentions differing distinguishing features. Stål (1870, page 147) placed Z. vicina as a synonym for Zoreva dentipes, but a page later in the same work (1870, page 148) decides to keep Z. vicina as a valid species criterion that is followed by Walker (1871). Finally, Lethierry and Severin (1894) in their "Catalogue General des Hemiptera" are guided Stål's original decision and consider Z. vicina as a synonym for Z. dentipes. We analyze the problem carefully, and came to the conclusion that Z. vicina is indeed a synonym of Z. dentipes.
