MYCTIS FASCIATUS.
M. tenebroso, Fab. (in Mus. Banks, nec Burm.) valde affinis at minor. M. Totus obscure fuscus; thoracis lateribus serratis angulisque posticis subacutis; antennis elongatis gracilibus nigris; femoribus 4 anticis spina apicali armatis; posticis incrassatis et curvatis spina minuta subapicali, tibiis curvatis spina media et pone hanc spinam interne serratis. Abdomen dorso nigro basin versus fascia griseo-viridi antice et postice in medio emarginata; abdomen subtus versus basin trispinosum spina media latiori truncata lateralibus duobus parvis, acutis. Metathorax utrinque ad latera puncto magno albo. F Magis brunnea, fascia dorsi abdominis in medio interrupta et lutea; femoribus posticis paullo dilatatis et versus apicem spina armatis, abdomen inerme, lateribus magis dilatatis. Long. Corp. Lin. 9—10. Habitat in China.
