• Scrutiny:
  • Dolling, 2011, Stål, 1873: 93 catalogued Alydus erythromelas Montrouzier, 1855 as incerti generis, noting that it is probably referable to Noliphus. Noliphus erythrocephalus sensu Ahmad, 1965b appears to be referable to this species. Ahmad’s (1965b) type fixation for N. erythrocephalus is invalid: Stål described the species from Sumatra based on material in Dohrn’s collection.
