  • Dolling, 2010, Various authors have followed Mayr’s original concept of Cletomorpha as a subgenus of Cletus Stål, 1859 while others have followed Stål, 1871: 652 in treating it as a full genus. Linnavuori, 1978: 26 reduced Cletomorpha to synonymy with Cletus, not even regarding it as subgenerically distinct
