• Scrutiny:
  • Livermore, 2009, Froeschner used the name Zicca recurva and Z. taeniola in his 1999 Panama catalogue. Zicca recurva had been synonymised by Brailovsky and Cadena revision of Zicca (1992) with Z. taeniola. Froeschner was aware of the Brailovsky and Cadena publication because he had one of their new species in his book and cited them for other Zicca species.
