Comment: Barreratalpa bambusii specimens were captured by shaking the foliage of Bambus sp. which growing in dense concentrations along mountain slopes and near a coffee farm. The average length of the bamboo was 3m. Also associated with this coreid were two species of Toonglasa (Lygaeidae-Blissinae).
