The epithet annulipes is neither a primary homonym in Gonocerus nor a secondary homonym in Anoplocerus but it was a secondary homonym in Bothrostethus until the genus Anoplocerus Kiritshenko, 1926 was founded; therefore, the epithet lucasi continues to be used.
